I wouldn’t say it was easy to read and I’m sure there are newer books on osteology which are more readable I hope! Every year hundreds of human skeletal remains are brought to the surface by engineering works, quarrying or planned archaeological exploration. I don’t know of an archaeologist who doesn’t have this one on their shelf or has not come across it at some point in their careers.

No, this one reads like a long scientific paper containing numerous citations to additional references in I don’t know of an archaeologist who doesn’t have this one bonew their shelf or has not come across it at some point in their careers.
