People in small towns tend to live their life for the approval of the town – just like Maddie Faraday. I picked up a few more of her books at the local bookstore and I’m sure I will be reading more of her work very soon! Added by 2 of our members.
It did improve though and I found Maddie pretty tolerable by the end. Maddie’s got a plan, but she faces one or two complications. It adds a new depth to the story line and keeps me turning page after page. I liked Maddie and C.
In many ways I see how that kind of small town mentality could be so stifling for growth. Not my favorite novel by Crusie – but still an enjoyable read.
